I have 5 yrs old verna. I still like the car very much. I dont like only two things in it and am pretty sure that those problems remain with the new verna too.
1) The legroom for the navigator/co driver seat is pathetic for a 58" tall person. the right knee is always in contact with the dashboard/the center console. During a 12 hour journey I just feel like getting of the car. as a result I always prefer to drive than sitting in that co driver seat.
I have seen the interior pictures of the new fluidic verna and am sure the dashboard curve to the center console results in the same issue.
2) It gives a thud sound for even a 1 inch deep holes on the road. bad shocks. well that I cannot tell by looking at pictures. but I strongly feel that it remains same because most car manufacturers are just not bothered to give to provide cars with good (according our roads) suspension / noiseless shock absorbers. That thud sound just takes away all the pleasure of driving a 10 lakh car.
Well I am eager to test drive the new verna just to check the suspension thing. but even if we (my family) buys new verna, again I have to stick to the wheel all the time, because back seat is reserved for women and co driver seat - I cant sit (legroom issue :-( ).
Well I hope that this time they have provided the lumbar support - fingers crossed.
