Bought Verna Fludic SX in Sept 2013
Thoroughly satisfied with the performance.
I was more a German fan like Volkswagen and Kkoda and I wasn’t willing to compromise on building quality.
Moving from Skoda Fabia to a midsize sedan I test drove Vento and Rapid, dint feel it was an escalation over Fabia
Scala, duster wasn’t very sturdy I felt.I was concerned about hyundai’s ability for body strength but was impressed totally.
In Verna I have done 12000 kms
Engine is smooth as silk it doesn’t feel like a diesel automobile at all
Pick up is v good, ground clearance is decent exceptions to very badly designed to road humps
Mileage of 13-14 in city with ac and 17 on highway
Did 185 kmph and it was very stable
Servicing about 7 K for 1st and 2nd free service
We are family of 5.-9 people and 6 ft leg and ground clearance is pretty decent for us.
Only fault I found was the service guys don’t understand what we need and rectify the defect at once.
Overall a very good package at that price in that segment.
