I am owning a Verna fluidic since 13/08/11. The colur I have chosen is BLACK as it appealed to me and my family. Before zeroing on this product I did a comparison study of similar vehicles of this category. After discarding other models(SX4, Etios, Vento), I shortlisted Honda City and this model. After comparing the price and the features, I found that this model do offer lot of gadgets at this price. I did not opt for diesel version although the price gap between petrol & diesel is high as I had burnt my finger by purchasing Indigo Diesel in 2007. Till date, I have driven around 500 kms and I could observe the improvement in fuel efficiency( same route, similar traffic congestion and unchanged driving habits) - can be attributed to the’loosening - up’ of engine components. The FE started with 8~9 kpl and now it is 10.5~ 11.5 kpl. The only issue I am facing is the soft suspension as I need to slow down drastically over speed breakers. The climatic control switches to fresh air mode although I set it to internal circulation mode. I need some expert advice. Since steering mounted audio control is a new to me, accidentally I am pressing other buttons while rotating the steering - I need to get used to this.
Although some reader may complain that it is not a technical review but a new car like a new wife in arranged marriage. So now I am at the’discovering’ stage and will report about my findings.
