This car, Verna CRDi VGT Diesel, comes with a 1.5L engine i.e., 1493cc which produces about "110ps" of power at just "4000rpm" and about a torgue of "24kgm" at about "2750rpm".

This car produces a torgue of 24kgm or 249.81=235.55Nm. Thats really a huge number compared to fiesta, honda city, aveo, etc. which produce a torgue about 160+ to 180+. This engine is a VGT engine means " Variable Geometry Turbocharger" which produces great power about "110 ps" **that really a lot of power for about just 8lakhs!
The only thing I dont like about this car is the rear suspension which is really soft and smooth. This kind of suspension is meant for highways. But in INDIA you rearly get to see very nice highways and all roads are really bad. But even though car travels smoothly on very bumpy roads but I really feel that rear suspension should have been even better. Accent has got better rear suspension compared to this. But you cant ask more for Just 8lakhs with engine giving you so much of power.
I really love this car which has got a great design, comfort and pure handling. This car is very energetic like a cheetah. This car is really wide and spacious.
Verna is the hybrid version of Accent Viva.

Really strange rigth. The car looks smaller than what actually it is. This is due to its design which create an illusion to our eyes. Can’t believe it? Believe it!
This car runs like an aircraft when the rpm meter crosses 2000rpm. You can effortlessly cruise at 170+ easily on highways and you need just about "11 seconds" to touch the 100kmph mark on the speedometer. And with this kind of a power, Verna still gives you a great mileage.
And in the end I would like to say that your money is very precious. To get the best out of your money in buying a car, Verna would be the best choice. And well if you still have an element of doubt about this car go for a test drive. Compare this car with other cars. You will definitely make out a huge difference.
