This has reference to a car purchase I made from Suhrit Hyundai (Yusuf Sarai Branch) on the 20th of July, 2007. I bought a Verna 1.6 xi which was available after 2 months of booking the car and still not in the color that I had requested for (husky blue) but white.
Out of despair I had to take the car as I had sold my earlier car a Maruti 800 dx to an agent named Pankaj sent by Ms. Kaur and Mr. Pramod working for Suhrit Hyundai. It was promised to me that a Verna would be available in two weeks so I could sell my car as I will not have to wait which did not turn out to be true and I was without a car for almost a month and a half.
This was just the start of the frustration with Suhrit and its employees. After my car was sold and I got the Verna, I was promised that the exchange bonus takes around two months so would be reaching me by September along with the registration card. The registration card reached me in the month of April, 2008 10 months after I bought the car and there is still no sign of the exchange bonus of Rs. 10, 000. I have been following this up regularly month after month with Mr. Pramod and now I come to know that even he has left Suhrit and joined Hyundai Motors the Head office branch.
Though I am still in touch with him and he has been telling me that he has submitted all the required papers with Suhrit thrice and the employees at Suhrit tell me that there is nothing that they have in hand and that I would not be getting the exchange bonus offered to me. After listening to all these stories for an year I finally spoke to the customer care deptt. 5 days back but still have not receive a single call from their side and thought of writing a formal complaint as well for the same.
Lets hope now that atleast Hyundai would respond to this. Its an excellent car but don’t ever make the mistake of buying it from Suhrit Hyundai delhi.
