I had my third/ last free service of my Hyundai Verna in Dec 2007. In addition to regular tuning etc, there was a problem of oil leakage. The executive there said that oil filter needs to be changed. Then it was changed. Everything was ok by that time.Recently, I took the car for service. It was on Jan 12, 2009. Again there was a problem of Oil Leakage. Again they told me that the oil filter needs to be changed. I dont understand why every time there in a need to change the oil filter. Is the quality of Hyundai Oil filter so poor that it needs to be changed every year?When I gave the car for service that day on Jan 12, 2009, they said that they would get the car ready the same day. I informed that the car will be going to Delhi next day i.e. on January 13, 2009 and has to get ready the same day. When in the evening I called them whether the car is ready or not, they said that everything is ready & OK except the car is not washed and there is a problem with Coolant elbow and needs to be replaced.They informed that the coolant elbow is not in stock and can not be replaced now. I was shocked saying that I need to go to Delhi next day and needs the car anyhow.They told me that the car could not go to Delhi but can use it for local purpose, washing will also be due and will be done next time and coolant elbow will be replaced when it will come in stock on January 15, 2009.On January 16, I called them informing them about my intention to bring the car for washing and coolant elbow replacement. They said that I can bring the car.After reaching the workshop, I was being informed that the coolant elbow is still not available. Now that was the height of irresponsibleness and I was surprised by their unprofessional attitude. When the same is not in stock they should have told me beforehand when I have called them on phone.Anyways, I gave my car for washing just because I took my car to the workshop and spent my fuel and time. Also I asked them to rectify some small problems which they did not do it properly last time(I got wheel balancing and alignment done on Jan 12, 2009, but it was done again since it was not properly done).They extended there apology about the coolant elbow and said it will be in stock till January 20, 2009. This time I have paid around Rs. 7500/- for this paid service which included oil change, oil filter replacement, balancing, alignment, labour charges etc. I felt that every penny of Rs. 7500/- got wasted this time when on January 18, 2009, my brother informed me that there is a missing problem in the car and also there was a smell of fuel from the back. It seems that the engine is not tuned properly.Seriously telling, I feel cheated. It has never happeded in these two years since the time we have purchased the car and took it for service, we brought it with good memories from the workshop. Every time there is one problem or another.Now, I will again go to them for pending work which is either undone or not done in proper way. I have to go to them just to get my car in perfect order again and again as if I am workless and have no other work to do and it involves no fuel, time and money.When I complained them about my unwillingness to come again and again for the same thing due to my busyness, they said they will pick the car from my home. They do not understand that there are other things involved like fuel cost, discomfort due to unavailability of car etc.When I tried to call their toll free number which you proudly display all over.1800-11-4645(Toll Free - Only from MTNL & BSNL numbers)098-7356-4645(For all GSM Connections / Landline other than MTNL & BSNL numbers)it gives a cracking and irritating sound, which a normal person can not understand at all. It seems that you do not want your clients to get connected to you because they know people are not happy with their services and they want to avoid the situation of listening to their grievances.To mail them is the only solution left. I hoped for a professional step from your side and you will look into the matter showing that you really care for your clients and you really think that Hyundai Verna owners should feel proud to own it. The service station is- P.L. Motors, Malviya Nagar Industrial Area, JaipurIn the mail from them which was the reply of my mail sent to Hyundai Central Regional Office they asked about the car registration no. and dealer name. I am still waiting for the reply from their side.I hoped for a quick action from at least central office but it seems that therer is nobody in the company who really care about its customers.The official at PL Hyundai, Jaipur(name not disclosed) informed me that the coolant elbow will arrive on Tuesday i.e. on Jan 20, 2009 and he himself will call me and pick the car. There was no call from him till 11 AM on Jan 20 and when I called him, he said that last time he said that coolant elbow will arrive on Jan 20 and will come in stock on Jan 21, 2009How can a responsible person from such a big company can not stand on his words. Another case of unprofessional attitude. Anyways I thought when I have waited for 8 days to get my car in order, lets wait for one more day and see how things work out.And to my expectations, he didnt call me today also i.e. on Jan 21, 2009. In the evening, I received a call from their office from an executive asking that since my car came for service on Jan 12, 2009, is it working fine? It was a routine call from the company to get the feedback. She seems to be the only person who really cared for its customers. She also informed that the coolant elbow has arrived.I informed her about my problems and she assured that she will take care of it tomorrow.Now there are two more issues that prove their services are pathetic:1) That I have to wait 1 more day to get my car in order. From Jan 12 to Jan 22, I am feeling as if I am a fool owning Hyundais car.2) Till now, people from Delhi has not taken any action against PL Motors, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. Routine call and the ignorance of Jaipur office people about my problem proves that people form Central Regional office has not cared to take action or at least inform their Jaipur counter part about the customers grievances.3) Despite the fact that Higher official at Jaipur knows everything about my problem and frustration, he did not bother to give a call regarding the arrival of coolant elbow since morning and I got a call from them only in the evening when my one more day has already gone without car.I do not know what the company is upto. People their really do not care for the customers.I had a talk with their HMIL Central Regional office also. I dont think that would also work. But one thing is sure, my Hyundai Verna will be my last car from Hyundai.The car is in worse condition after servicing. We shold have not gone to Hyundai authorised service station and instead should have gone and will go to local service station that are at least cheaper.Bhavuk Agrawal
