Don’t know why but this is my experience with most Hyundai dealers - Ignorance. The reason can be high sales due to which they don’t give out discounts or followup with the customers.
Maruti and Ford dealer give out offers/discounts and accessories with any of their products. Even with Maruti 800, you get 10k discount. But with Hyundai’s products, there are no offers or discounts be it the cheapest Santro or Elantra.
Same experience was with Sunrise Auto Hyundai in Delhi and others.
The products like Verna diesel are good but dealers sucks. Firstly they offer a scheme and after a short time when you go for booking, they say its been withdrawn. Now all we can give is Car mats worth 500/- on a 8L car. Thats funny. The car does not comes with the standard accessories in the proce range like - Music system, Speakers, Airbags, Alloy wheels, etc. It doesn’t have electrically operated side mirrors or the fake wood fascia or the nice beige upholstery, but this car moves. It rattles like a truck at start-up sounds loud.
The best model in Petrol version has all the accesories and its price is Rs 7.01L. The diesel version is Rs 7.45L but the accessories it has are equivalent to Pertrol version of Rs 6.24L. Even if the diesel engine cost more is the price diff of the range of 7.45-6.24= Rs 1.21 lakhs?
The Hyundai diesel car are not value for money at all. Even after paying out extra for diesel engine, one does not get the standard set of accessories.
SO A BIG NO TO SUCH CRAP.
