Hi Friends, I am Dinesh and today I am going to share my 1 year journey with my Hyundai Xcent. I wanted to write this story right after buying this car because was in love with this car before owning it but then later on I decided to wait for some time to experience its brilliance. I bought Xcent last year on 15th Dec’16.
Xcent is a value for money car and is the best sedan car in this range. Following is my past 1 year experience.
Space Inside
The Xcent has got 407 litres of boot space, it’s the best in class and it can adjust two full size suitcases and a bit more.
Dealer Satisfaction
I bought this car from Deep Hyundai and trust me the staff over there is so supportive, sweet, helpful, keep good product knowledge and most importantly honest. I recieved the delivery of my car on the promised date. there post delivery service is just awesome one of the staff Mr. Puneet is still in connection with me. Just in case if I forget, Hyundai staff reminds me about the service due date of my car. they pick and drop my car post service whenever I am not in town. thats how I dont have to be worried about my car because I beilieve the whole Hyundai team is looking after my car.
Fuel Consumption
Its produces great mileage of 12 kmpl in city and 14 kmpl on highways. I have got installed CNG kit from Deep Hyundai and to my surprise it just cost me Rs 1.50 per KM which is even more lesser than my Pulsar 220 bike which encourages me to drive it regularly for office(Rohini to Airport)
Comfort
Its simply a 5 seater car. 5 means 5, it has got full space for 1 driver and 4 passengers. In past 1 year I have taken it out of station more than 5 times and specially on mountains. It prooved to be a good and comfortable car on long trips too. driving on hills is again a different experience. braking system is nice and I did not experience any engine heating issue.
Reliability
I Genuinely feel that hyundai car are reliable. As I have already taken my xcent on long drives covering more than 500 kms for more than 5 times so I believe that this car is reliable on long drives and will not make you disappointed. Xcent comes with the tubeless tyres including one extra tubeless wheel which clears you fear of getting your car punctured and looking for a puncture repair shop in the middle of your journey.
Looks
In India, the status associated with the sedan body style also plays its part. its a good product in this range and its look is just amazing.
The hexagonal grille is bold in design. The headlights sweep back towards the side as well as on the bonnet making it look large. The lower section of the front bumper has multiple crease lines.
The Xcent has got machined alloy wheels.The side profile looks balanced with the additional boot. It has a wheelbase of 2425mm .
The seats are adequately cushioned and offer great under thigh, lumbar and back support. The front row seats are extremely comfortable. Even the rear row seats are decent in providing adequate comfort. For taller passengers, the knee room around driver’s seat can feel a bit congested. In the rear section, the legroom and headroom is superb.
The rear AC vents make it even more comfortable for the rear passengers. All four windows drop down completely. The driver’s window has an auto drop down function too where the glass goes down at a single click.
The internal trims are completed in 2 tone beige and black colors. The black makes it look premium while the beige contrasts it. The dashboard sees a strong beige panel while the door trims are primarily done in black with only the lower portion being beige.
