THE Plot:
Its 2012, A deadly virus has eliminated most of the human life on earth. Dr. Robert Neville [ Will Smith ] is probably THE last survivor along with his female dog Sam. These have been immune to the virus offlate and are healthy after THE 3 years of DOOM.
In these 3 years, Neville has researched all the possible type compounds on different kinds of animals [infected animals], to find a cure to the virus. Also, He has searched for life everyday pleading on all the AM channels, If anybody could hear him; Respond.
The research is not only limited to animals, later it is discovered that, The people who could survive the virus actually got infected and turned into zombies. So, Dr. Neville is the only survivor. Is he going to find a cure?

# In the lab, during his case study. Neville finds a cure to the virus ’Compound 6’ which is tested on a rat. Which results in decreasing of the aggression in the infected life. To, refine it; Neville catches a female zombie with a trap and tests the compound, If it works on humans too.
# Neville loses his dog, due to an infected bite on its skin.
# During a fight to avenge Sam’s death, Neville is rescued by a new human Anna who Comes along with her son from Netherlands.
# There is a colony somewhat called the Safe Colony, Which wasn’t actually infected.
# At the end, Neville finally finds a cure to this virus and ends himslef using a hand grenade in his own laboratory.

*Direction:
Francis Lawrance** does an absolute justice to a script which really deserves a standing ovation. The major quotient of this movie lies in its sets, special effects, cinemetography. A stunning 10/10 for direction.
*Performances:
*The movie does not deviate from its major character, i.e Will Smith who outperforms.. And surely guarantees; Science fiction is also his genre. There were only 4 characters in the movie, including a dog. All performed first rate.
*Positives:
*Now, How many of you can imagine the following:
# Empty ’Times Square’ with all the LCD’s, lights broken, All the symbols, sign boards rotten?
# A HALF broken Brooklyn Bridge, and also a sequence of its destruction?
# Lions hunting for deers and other animals in open NY?
# Golf on a US Air Force Plane and Naval Base?
# A city without no people?
Well, If you can and if you couldn’t. This movie will redefine whatever you thought about being alone. The movie has absolutely path breaking cinematography, Excellent scene execution, good performances, a good plot. In short it has everything what is required for making a good film.
*Negatives:
*After a good share a positives, The movie also has its share of negatives too. There are many scripting flaws in the movie.
Electricity - Most of the electrcical equipments are shown running.
Fuel to run vehicles.
Clean houses
Food.
Now these are some questions, which really remain unanswered.
The ending is well justified, still it remains a sad ending.
Overall^^.. I Am Legend is a excellent sci-fi movie after a long time, If you like good action, thrills, scary moments and fun. This is a must watch for you.
