I am Legend....

The last Hollywood movie that I saw was ‘I Am Legend’ starring Will Smith. It sent creepy feeling all over me after seeing the movie, all night I had those wired monster in my dream. I cursed myself for choosing the last show for this movie.

I had a feeling of someone taking the blood out of me. I was slapping my hands all over in my sleep. What an effect a movie can have on ones mind. I could not get out of the feeling until early morning, at last of woke up surrendering to these blood taking monsters. It was five in the morning as I picked up my mobile phone to see the hour of the day. I then realized that I was actually scratching my body. I switched on the lights, to see if there were any of such baby monsters I had got along with me after the movie.

‘Yuck!’ to my disgusts I was fighting the bed bugs all night; they had left marks all over my body, small bits of swollen areas all over. I wanted to kill them, but they were every where, on the floor, on the bed, in the quilt, and even in my nighty. I couldn’t stop scratching.

Few hours later I armed my self like Will Smith in the movie, to fight the blood thirsty creatures. I was armed with a spray pump, a bed bug killing drug from the pharmacy, a can of kerosene, which I was advice to mix it with the drug by the pharmacist. After working with the drug and the kerosene, I was ready to try my medicine for the first time on the creatures. I imagined my self in the laboratory like Will Smith talking in the video and preparing the medicine and than finally testing it. After about spending ten minutes in preparing the mix and filling it into the spraying pump, I gathered all the guts to fight my enemies. I started spraying like I was shooting bullets from the machine gun nonstop. I lifted everything from the bed covers, to the sofa upholsteries, the cabinet’s drawers, almost everything. The house looked like a battle field. I was exhausted and went for a shower; I had to wait for the results as the medicine would take three to four hours to show its effects. After locking up the enemies to die with the medicine, I left the house alone to them, with no human blood to suck for their survival and only toxic medicine as their food.

After a shot coffee break at Café Coffee Day with a friend I reached home hoping for the results to my favor. I wanted to have a sound sleep in the night. As I opened the door, a particular toxic stink had suffocated the atmosphere. I had to protect my lungs from this suffocation so I tied my mouth and nose and entered the house with my maid to clean up the battle field. The medicine had worked and almost all the enemies were defeated to death. I had a sound sleep that night and I called my self as ‘I Am Legend’(of the house off course.)

Lastly coming to the movie….it had a great effect on me.(As you read the above). It leaves you with a thought that what if this becomes a reality, if you are the only survivor of some natural calamity. The ‘what if…’ factor remains with you. Will Smith has done a great job, after seeing him in action and comedy to see him in a serious role like this, was a treat to his fans. The rest is the art of Hollywood film makers, the sets, the graphics etc. What I couldn’t digest in the movie was the end, when the Gods angle the woman with her child enters the scene it some how doesn’t make sense.
