I bought this device 3 months back and now thought of sharing my experience with it. i-mate JASJAM runs on windows with office applications pre-loaded.

This is the first pocket PC that I have ever bought. So far the experience has been mixed.
Pros:
Excellent design, look and small size
QWERT slide-out keypad
Touch screen support
Windows based - offers excel, word, power point, One-note (limited version) within - You can do almost everything that you do on your desktop/laptop.
Note taking is very easy and you can take your hand-written notes
Sound quality is excellent
7 Syncs well with your laptop/desktop (you can configure 2 PCs/laptops)
8 Thumb wheel feature for easy navigation
9 If you intend to use it just as a phone then rest assured. Nice clear and crackle free voice quality
10 Good battery life
Cons:
1. Slide-out keypad is problematic especially when the alignment is changed. You can’t do anything till you slide-out it fully and slide-in again.
No FM Radio!
Although not the device problem, 3G Network is not available in India! You can’t enjoy power of 3G
Back-light activates only when you have something to do with JASJAM otherwise it remains off even when it is dark
Very difficult to receive calls or do anything with JASJAM when you are on your bike (without bluetooth/earphone)
2 MP Camera is not ideal when you want high resolution quality
Applications remain in memory even after closing them and make your working slow
Conclusion:
Good buy for people like me who likes travelling. You are carrying your office with you. Anywhere anytime email, excel, word support makes you connect to your office and carry out your routine office work. Yeah! It is not intended for people who simply want a cell phone to talk. You have to be the one who requires normal cell phone + PC right in your pocket.
