I was planning to buy a nice kewl cellphone to upgrade from my older one(I had NOkia 6600 before), so naturally it should be better than my older phone, and getting a peice better than nokia 6600 in March 2004 was quite difficult coz tht time smartphones were quite new kid on the block and expensive too.
But I trusted i-mate smartphone and bought one for Rs.36000/- very expensive though, but I think, its worth it.
I opened the box and yippee, a nice sleek phone ready to be explored.I switched it on, took some time hmmm abt 2 mins, but as they say Sabar ka Phal hamesha meetha hota hain!! fitted right here.
Initially I felt that I had quite wasted 36 grands on this stupid little gadget but as days passed by and I got familiar with its functions I came to know that it is worth lakhs because the phone not only organised meetings and reminded me my appointments as every phone does, it would automatically go to silent mode on that time which I stored as meeting time in calender, so got it why it is smart??

# It also plays Mp3 and come along with a datacable-cum usb charger-cum-car charger-cum home charger and a stereo headset which gives u a theatre like effect when u listen to mp3s , and a cool leather pouch to store it on the move, and 1 cd and a manual.
# It also has bluetooth as well as infrared for high speed data transfer.
#And the most important the customer support is tremendous.
#The Company itself gives software upgrades for free from time to time, now isn’t tht gr8??
But the battery is a bit weak and goes even worser when u play mp3 or use bluetooth, but who cares if u have a recharger.
# It also has and website on which u can register and get free stuff for u smartphone like games, ringtones , applications
# It also has a Word, excel, powerpoint and microsoft outlook viewer.And Msn messenger and internet explorer
# And yes a camera with unlimited video recording and the clearity on it is awesome 65k colour screen is too good

So go ahead and buy it without fear of thinking tht is it a good phone or is it worth the amount it is charged etc etc.
