Ok so there was the typical’moral-of-the-story’ ending. Ok so the main character changed for the better. Ok so the movie ended. no wait. I shall rephrase that. Good that the movie ended!
I mean seriously, what was the actual idea behind this movie? So it taught us good things like do not spoil your children, do not let pride overcome your feeble brains, be humble and modest, care for others. yeah good very good. But when the movie earns such moral points, it also flings a TITANIC immoral spanner in the cultural wheels of our society. THE CHILD BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK is being portrayed as. hmmm why not! Whoa there!
It started as a fad of scantily cladded women(obviously who do not have any moral standards) dancing on some dinchak number. and ends with begetting kids with every Tom, Dick and Harry? I am afraid to think how this cultural hara-kiri will end.
Do we just drift away from our strong traditional culture? You know. the same culture people from the west tried to emulate? Whats happening to the censor board? Don’t they have a sense of moral responsibility? Or are they just having a Pi experience too?
Me thinks it is time to call The ETHICS MAN!
