This book disappointed and underwhelmed me as someone who had great hopes for a touching love story. I went into the book with an open mind, but the novel fell short of my expectations, making me doubt the character development and the overall plot.
The absence of character development in the novel was one of my main complaints. The heroes lacked the emotional nuance required to draw readers into their journey and felt one-dimensional. It was difficult to relate to their apparent budding romance because their interactions frequently came across as forced and unnatural.
I was expecting "I Never Thought I Could Fall in Love" to have more emotional impact and deeper storytelling, but it fell short. I was unable to fully invest in the relationship because of the storys weak character development, poor tempo, and unimpressive writing style. Although the idea had promise, the execution fell short, and I was sorry I wasted my time reading it.
