I bought the iBall Slide Brace X1 4G with Remix OS from an a reputed eCommerce site on 7th Aug 2017. Received the product in 4 days time and used it for 10 days infrequently. on 22-Aug-2017 the tablet stopped powering up. Took it to the service centre in Pune. After a lot of followup with the service centre and iBall customer care finally was told that a replacement will be be provided. Replacement finally came on 12-Sep. When I went to pick it up on 15-Sep figured out that they have given the older model without Remix OS. I was offered multiple explanations that it is ok, etc etc. I refused to accept and the replacement drama has started again. Its been a week since I am still waiting for the replacement. I called up customer service and service centre again today and have been told to wait for another 8-10 days. In effect it is 1.5 months already and I have used the tablet for barely 10 days, not long enough to test out all the features but long enough to understand that the battery is poor. It used to take 8 hours for a full recharge.
Bad product coupled with bad customer service. Reflects the state of the company and approach to customers. No wonder Chinese goods are flooding the market.
