Is it a great deal or just another Chinese OEM under the skin.
Firstly, I wanted a tablet for a casual use which fills up as an entertainment unit when I travel. There were many considerations, since our Indian market is filled with many tablets to choose from. I couldn’t compare each one of them thoroughly because it will take longer than expected and I could not segregate much of the time for it.
Then comes iBall which launched its new so called flagship tablet called Brisk 4G2, I made up my mind and began digging up for more information and reviews online, well every other big reviewer gave this tablet a thumbs up and noted that it is a best in its price range. Frankly, after seeing those reviews I made up my mind and bought this product.
Let me first talk about its advantages, well it has 4G Vo-LTE(which is compatible with JIO sim’s, good thing), a 64Bit Quad core processor(not sure which processor, not mentioned on the package), 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera.
And now the biggest disadvantage, the big blow is 7" IPS HD display which I think is way more crappier than any other low budget tablets. Viewing angles is more poor we cant even shift our eyes to about 20degrees. For my purpose I really wanted a better if not a good display since I do use it for entertainment purpose only, for the price which is about 8999/- atleast one would expect a better quality display but this so called IPS display is of no use.
Network reception is also wavy it tends to loose its signal every now and then, btw I use JIO for the record.
I suspect it is MediaTek processor with Malli T720 GPU which I think is okish and nothing dramatic to write about.
One thing which I have learnt is I suppose many Big Reviewers take money and write favorable reviews abide to that particular company and misguide customers, it is indeed a marketing strategy. Also, everyone is aware of the customer services of these brands, nothing much to write here as well.
Research more online if not see it physically and then buy this tablet, after all it is your hard earned money.
