I have worked for HP, Oracle, Wipro, but trust me no place is as bad as IBM. Most of the employees are bad at what they do. And you have to end up dealing with idiots all the time. And there is no scope for pay hike, promotion or anything.
I worked for 3 years. Worked my azz of coz the team I was leading was crap, (Happened with not one but 2 teams) and finally got nothing. Reason; They hired me at a band for which I was already overpaid. And why did they overpay me? To match my Oracle salary.
The horrors don’t end here/ They have 90 days notice period, and multiple contracts that drive you mad. They wont agree if you say you need 90days to join, but wont let you go without 90 days notice. Pretty smart way to make you their slave eh!
All in all the worst place to work, the infrastructure is bad, the ACs don’t work properly, you get no parking space if you go after 9:30 AM. The food in cafeteria tastes like puke.
I would not recommend this place to anyone!
