I want to depict my horrible experience which I have faced while withdrawing my PF money from IBM. Even after 5 months and exchanging 30 mails I am unable to withdraw my PF money which is almost 10 lakhs for my total 8 year 6 months service period.
Sometimes they are telling I am not eligible for PF withdrawal, then they are telling the forms are in old format, after sending new format they are telling declaration should be in specific format, after sending declaration in IBM format, IBM is telling 15G is missing, after explaining 15G is not applicable to me they are now again coming back to the format issue which was earlier clarified.
The chain of event is given below,
i) First I sent the PF withdrawal forms more than 3 months back by India Speed Post(EW79*92IN) and according to the tracker - it has reached IBM office on 21st August’15. IBM accepted the same but did not proceed stating PF can not be withdrawn before retirement.
ii) Then I filed RTI application under RTI Act with Government and send the RTI reply to IBM that as I am working in a Govt organization where there is no PF, I am eligible for withdraw. Post which IBM agreed to proceed but this time they came up with a new issue and told me to send the forms in new format which I immediately did.
iii) I resent my withdrawal request in new format by Indian Speed Post( ED62*26IN) with my own declaration which has reached IBM on 15th Sept at 4:46 PM.
iv) Then IBM send me a new copy of the declaration form and asked me to send the scanned copy which I also complied within few days. On 25th Sept’15 and 1st Oct’15 I received acknowledgements for my mails as given below."Your
declaration letter for unemployment has been received by the team and it is handed over to the team to do the needful. If any details required from your end then the team will get back to you on the same." But after this there was no response.
v) After 8-9 reminder, I received a mail from .Mr. XXXXXX on 10th Dec’15 asking whether forms in new format was sent which I immediately confirmed over mail as I had mentioned above.
vi) Then again there was no progress. Then suddenly on 5th jan’16 IBM came up with a new issue to harass me. They sent me a mail that my processing was on hold because 15G was not submitted to which I explained it was not at all required because my PF service period was 8 years 6 months.
vii) Now on 9th Jan’16, IBM again has come back with the issue that I had submitted the forms in old format.
After working diligently in IBM, this kind of harassment is unthinkable despite I had submitted all documents promptly.
