1st of all almost all govt sites are unreliable and on ancient web servers.
i am a webmaster itself and know how load a webhost/vps/dedicated server can take.
i have filled many a times these bank-forms for my friends and cousins. so I know how much time these kind of sites take to load application and submission.
all in all I have found IBPS site worse : I faced same problem with SBI few months ago but that exam was taken by 17lakh candidates [a record] so one can assume the load on their servers.
IBPS has habit to show antics performance time to time and on this occasion they robbed me 606.72 rs [only my 2nd competitive exam].
because of their server problem : payment was deducted from my account but registration was unsuccessful. I immediately send them email @ registration_helpdesk@ibpsorg.org and as it had to happen . no reply received at all. send it 2nd time and again same result.
their helpline 1800 222 366 : never works. made 6 calls and every time received computer generated music. 2 calls were of 8 and 15minutes : its clear they not care about anything.
i tried it around 5pm just 2 hours ago and this time result was "BUSY".
why busy? because like me many suffered this error and lost money.
as everyone can see they only mint money and cheat like many e-commerce sites.
how error happened?
After filling the application I clicked on submit button paid amount via Debit card and in 5 seconds received message at mobile that payment was done.
An information box appeared and I clicked on continue.>>> only online procedure to fill bank forms exist now and a candidate has to provide Signature and PHOTO
After I hit continue it had to upload images [ total size 58 kilo byte] [i get speed of 35 Kilobbyte] I always track my downloads/uploads via NETMETER s/w . It clearly showcased that both requirements were uploaded. it was mere 2 seconds job.
But but here their servers comes into play . it kept on loading and loading. I checked at router. data connection was up. I loaded Google in a new tab and everything was working.
So my registration was unsuccessful. it happened with many others. No confirmation received at email or mobile. usually we receive sms and email both.
Crooks gonna enjoy the hard money of all unsuccessful candidates
