I am student of ICFAI-MBA(distance) for more than a year. Before joining, I compared ICFAI with other institutes. I chose ICFAI-MBA(distance) mainly because of training classes.
But now I am in group E(Stage II)...But there are no classes being conducted. Management says atleast 10 students are needed to have class. When we were in first stage..we were more than 60 students. Most of them discontinued because of their workload at office and/or tought syllabus.
Since I joined mainly for training classes I am very disappointed. Also, I am sure nobody(normal
student!) can pass without training classes. Now, who’s to blame!...What is our fault who managed to pass. I don’t think any university would not conduct classes because of low strength. I remember civil engineering dept in our college used to run just with four students.
I strongly believe 50000 Rs is too high for just study materials!. Then, what more value ICFAI is adding compare to other institutes. Since there is huge study material ..we are not able to read books fully.Though study material is very good, till now I do not remember reading one complete book in any subject.
Also, I get irritated when I see advertisements of ICFAI-MBA(distance) highlighting training classes.
So I strongly recommend not to join ICFAI-MBA(distance) if u are choosing based on training classes.
If you still want to join, please insist on training classes through out all three stages before admission.
