ICICI starts products and services faster than other banks in India, but often with very little planning and very bad management. Employees are underpaid and treated very badly. Poorly run. I have had my cheques misplaced twice. Both times the officers at the branch were very nonchalant like they did not really care and did not seem to have much of an idea. I have also had FDs prematurely closed, ’accidental’ extra charges on my credit card and miscalculation and overcharging on my car loan.
I currently have cancelled all these and moved to HDFC and SBI. ICICI is a fantastic example of how pathetic an institution can become when they treat the rank and file employees like dirt. I moved out after working there for just 6 months.
