I hold a savings account with ICICI bank
This was in regards to the fraudulent transactions from my account at 22:49 p.m on the 17th of November 2016.
I received messages of different amounts debited from my savings account in a span of 10 seconds.
I was completely shocked as none of these transactions have been done by me.
No online purchase has been made on this day and I have not disclosed or shared my debit card or account details with anyone.
I immediately called the customer service to get my Debit card permanently blocked and also informed the same to the advisor.
I was informed to call and file a complaint with ICICI Customer service fraudulent team in the morning after 8 a.m. These transactions were done from different countries like Berlin, Russia, New York and London at the same time.
I have filed a complaint in the police and also submitted the necessary required documents at the Bandra west branch.
Total amount of Rs.50, 011.71/- has been debited from my account due to these fraudulent and fake transactions out of which Rs.623 has been reversed back.
Its been around 2 weeks now and there is no update from the team to resolve this query. Didnt expect a wealth management customer to be mistreated in this way.
I have been regularly following up with them everyday for my refund but to no resolution.
All I have been asked to do is’Wait’. Is ICICI so unsafe and unreliable to bank with?
I am an 8 year old customer with ICICI but never imagined that this could be one of the worst experiences to spoil my relation with the Bank.
Move your money/funds/savings from #ICICI Bank to any other bank at the earliest friends.
Your money and account is at risk. Huge fraudulent transactions happening and the bank doesn’t care at all.
