I wish I had not opened this account in ICICI

I have following grievances against ICICI bank


Customer care and Phone banking -




  1. Takes longer time to actually reach desired menu because of cheap advertising and an unending maze of options.




  2. You waste your money on phone bill as instead of solving your problem they start explaining their offers even after you tell them that you have no interest whatsoever.




  3. Takes hell lot of time to connect to customer care, I have waited till 15 minuets(unbelievable) with total call time of 20 minutes and the problem was still.




  4. While I could change my phone number with SBI on phone, I had to go to ICICI bank to change my phone number.




  5. Once you reach to ICICI bank branch they irritate you by explaining their offers and plans.






Internet banking -




  1. Hell lot of security. asks for loads of passwords and grid numbers and stuff.

  1. When I called the customer care, they are completely unaware of their own mobile application, they ask me to hold and transferred my call to imobile department.




I can’t get out of this shitty bank as this is my salary account. If you ever want to go for a normal saving account, go to any bank other than ICICI. For crying out loud, they even have got Big B to advertise for them. They should have invested the money they wasted in hiring Big B in improving the customer care and mobile banking.
