I opened my 4 NRI Account on 27 January. Deposited the checks, they were never credited to my account. I did a wire transfer on March 17, 2005 my account in USA is telling me that the transfer was done on the same day... today is April 17, 2005 it has been a month the money was never credited to account either.
I reported this many times to the A/C Managers, wrote emails & called them every time I call them they do not provide any reference number, always I have to start from the square one & always there is a promise from the representative they need 2 business days to get back to me. The supervisor is never available to take the call.
My kids go to school in India their school fees were delayed because of that.
Same thing has happened to my other 3 accounts also. The cheques which I left in Karnal Branch, Haryana - India was never credited to my accounts they still have Zero balance.
Although I opened the account with Citibank NRI services they are really good. They opened my account in 21 days from USA and the customer service is really good.
