Normally I do not write reviews. However when I write there is a certain meaning and substance attached to it. I recently issued a cheque to a vendor from ICICI bank they dishonoured my cheques stating the reason insufficient funds, drawer signature does not match and debited Rs 800./- When I approached the bank the cleared said that the funds were there however they are liened. I have also given a letter to the bank about the various signatures I normally do.
I simply do not understand there logic. At there whims and fancies they can debit and touch any amt from our savings account for which no questions are entertained.
When I approached there manager at sector 18 noida, He said that charges cannot be reversed under any circumstances. He was very rude and behaved in a very derogatory manner. He also went to the extent of saying that you can close your account if you want to do so as in India we have many more donkeys waiting to open account with us.
God knows from where does ICICI Bank recruit all these hooligans!
I would request every one reading this review not to deal with icici bank as they rob customer’s money by different tactics. Please open account with an nationalised bank. Do not take loans from icici or any of its subsidiaries. Do not invest in icici demat services such as icici direct.com as the brokerages are very high and now I had a problem when it comes to crediting shares in my account.
When you call up there customer service first the avr asks you several questions about you and then they keep you waiting, finally when these trained robots takes over they again ask you the same questions. It has been my experience that whenever you call it takes more then 32 mins on a single telephonic call, the end result is just a failure . Finally you curse yourself why you wasted time over the phone.
Icici bank just gives excuses for debiting money from your account.
This has been my experience with this dirty bank I have ever faced in my life.
The chq dishonour had effected my integrity and my social status in the society.
