I’ve been using this service for the past 3 months now and must say in all fairness its been fairly good when it comes to transferring money 2 an ICICI account in India. For the first time last month I transferred to a different bank in India and it took 2 weeks to reach India, which sounds ridiculous to me. My local bank said that ICICI India had transferred them the money only previous day and ICICI responded that it takes more than a week for them to send it to another bank. Why this difference when both ICICI and the other bank are in India.
Finally today I had to go to their customer service because there was some problem with their site when trying to do a NetExpress transfer from UK. They just couldn’t understand the issue even with screen shots attached. The customer support guys were so daft that they just kept responding back with standard scripted responses. Absolutely daft. I can now understand why people in the UK crib about call centres / customer support in India being crap. These guys have just no clue what they are talking about.
I would never recommend them to anybody in the UK.
