Since the day I have got ICICI coral American Express card, I have been facing issues with both online and offline transactions as the card only works with typical swipe machines. Most of the times my credit card account got debited without the transaction getting successful on Merchant’s end.
Few days later when once the pin was entered wrongly for 3 times my card got blocked and this thing was not informed to me through call or email, I called customer care asking them to unblock the card, but didn;t get a proper response and they kept on saying that you willl have to reiusse a new card, none of them(even superiors) were helpful. Infact one of the superiors told me that even though my card was blocked, I can continue with online transactions, which didn’t happen.
Overall my experience was pathetic and full of embarrasment whenever I used to swipe the card and the transcation used to fail everytime. I would recommend not to use this credit card.
