Last week was my second instance with icici’s money transfer to India service. I highly recommend using this site to transfer money to India.
Their big plusses are
1) If you have ur account set up with them already, it takes 5-7 days for money transaction to get complete and get deposited in ur beneficiary’s account in india, if transaction done from USA and method chosen is ACH.
2) Their dolllar-to-rupee conversion rate is best.....its only about .30 cents less from forex rate..so if yahoo currency converter shows a conversion rate of 46.1 Rs per USD, then icici will give us about 45.8 Rs per USD
3) There ACH transfer fees is zero.
