I am here just to warn you that please be cautious dealing with private Banks..As they dont issue any passbook only a quarterly statement is delivered to customers.... which a customer generally don’t tally..
I just want to share an instance when I deposited a cash amount of Rs 4200/-.and they same was debited to my account.As I dont have much amount in my this a/c and also I use internet banking so a change of Rs 8400/- was easily noticed by me. Although they rectified the same when I visited the Branch after showing the pay in slip. But I was really shocked that if the same happened with a person who deal with huge amount and may neglect such a blunder.
So beware to tally ur accounts please. keep ur all deposit slips safe... keep all docs related to the Bank safe you might need them anytime. Right now also I have two issues pending with the banks:Amount of Bounce cheque penalty..which initially told Rs 200/- and debited my account for Rs 400/- also cheque not issued after numerous reminder for my company’s current account.I will update with these experience once issues are finished........
