I have been a ICICI NRI Customer for over 15 years. While being a customer I had tranferred more than quarter million dollars to India. Now, I am trying to get the money repatriated for almost an year and ICICI always finds some creative way to stop the repatriation inspite of provide all documents, 15CA, 15CB, SUpporting Documentation for payments received.
They want a proof of deposits/payments made more than 5 years back for small amounts. While I point to hug deposits into my account for which I have documentation, they are not interested in looking at it. Just waiting for next trip to India to close the account.
