I Want to share my bad experience about my current account with Icici Bank. They had given overdraft facility where I can drow more than my account balance and on the balance outstanding they will charge intrest per day.
One day I cleared my outstanding balance except Rs1.80/- as I did left as rounding difference. on that 1.80 they charged Rs 500/- late fee and an intret of 0.22 paise.
when I checked the statement I called to customer care and I raised a complaint to write off those Rs500/- as this is a little amount.the phone banking guy raised a complaint on behalf of me and said that they will revert back to me in a week time.
But when I called for next time some other said that they cant revert the charges as the amount is out standing and we have to pay it. Mean while I raised another complaint and on the next month they levied another Rs 500/- on the out standing amount.
At last I talked with the officer there and felt vexed and paid the remaing outstanding amount and closed my account.
