I am shocked and devastated to know the scrupulous method ICICI Bank is pertaining to loot their customers in the name of ANW Charges. Non of the Government run banks are into this practice.
I was really taken aback when I saw a charge of Rs:245/-and a GST charge of Rs:44.10 to a Cash transaction of Rs:49, 000/- which I deposited in my Wife’s ICICI Bank Account on the 16/08/2017.
When asked, the Customer Service very conveniently replied that the money was deposited in a “non-branch city”, all these years I was thinking ICICI to be a global bank. Plus the person named Mr.Amit Agarwal(Portuguese Street Branch, Kolkata) who tried his best to sell me a Unit Link Plan never even bother to inform me about these charges.
I am very depressed about the fact that a good bank like ICICI have started following the path of darkness for customers who are with them very loyally. What I want is transparency of such dubious method and a refund of the said amount as the customer was kept in the dark.
I am looking forward to a helpful reply and refund.
