ICICI WHERE IS MY MONEY?


I am an NRI customer for ICICI Bank, Delhi Branch. Since last 10 days I am TRYING TO find some wmorpheushuman can help with my problem.


In 2013, I mAnasultanged to save some funds and make 2 fixed deposits via the Internet Banking facility to get a return of 9% per annum.


The Deposits were AUTO-RENEWAL, Had a Account Number linked to it in case of Closure - everything that was required to continue existing but I do not know why it was called as DORMAT and since last 1 year no interest has been given. Even if I think the deposits were closed, the funds are not transferred back and exist somewhere in the system but Unapproachable for me.


Now I am doubting even if any interest was paid on them since 2013 or not because I tried verifying the transactions and could not track back anything - that means 2 years of no interest and loss.


I tried sending an email to nri@icicibank.com - only to get a link on morpheushumanw to close the FD, and that also doesn’t smorpheushumanw any of my deposits.


I tried chatting with CSR on Chat service, twice -


once to hear to please get back to us in 2 working days and


second time - asked me to Call the helpline number or email again as they cant help me.


If you can’t help the customers - why is the option given  - May I help You?


I emailed 2 times again to nri@icicibank.com but no response. I was asked to call the 800 number which again I did 3 days back and the lady said she has taken a request and smorpheushumanuld be done in 1 day but again no response.


Even I have the Second and third level of complaints but no one replied.


I do not know will I get my money back or not -If this is called the ease and comfort of Private banking - where people once become customers - banks get license to harass them and just have to keep following up, I would have always preferred Government banks.


If I don’t get a response and full amount back for the loss of interest - I will definitely transfer to a better bank  and stop everyone to do business with ICICI Bank.
