I have been a user of ICICI for the last 1+ year. Based on the response I received for my SB account I applied for a credit card and also persuaded my company to move our salary accounts there. I have found them to be very quick and responsive. In fact, to date, I have never had to step into the bank for any work.
I opened my account by calling the service centre and placing a request. My account details were posted home along with my cheque book and ATM card.
Satisfied with te service I applied for a credit card and have received the same excellant service. In fact, when there was some problem with the courier service and the bill did not reach me on time, they sent their representative home to collect the payment of Rs. 200/-.
Thats what I call service, specially when compared to some other banks, where they refuse to even answer any queries over the phone.
