I have an account with icici for many years and all these these time I have been noticing this weird behaviiour from the bank staff, they dont seem to care about the customers, probabaly thinking that if one customer leaves it will not affect them.
For each and everything they make a big fuss, like an address update or Aadhar update, not sure who made this idiotic policies, none of the other banks which I have accounts with has these type of issues,
They upgraded my debit card saying that there will be no annual charges, but they charged me 600 Rs, when questioned they said I have to pay seems no other options.
Also the sutomer service executive talked as if she is doing me some sort of favor, I hated her tone. I complained about the same, bank promised a call back but that never happened.
Same thing happened with credit card also, after promising lifetime free credit card I was charged, I complained and immediately cancelled the card.
Now I have deiced to close my account, but seems I have to got to home branch, so waiting.
