I wanted to write this review after doing Phd.. on curses and abuses.. so that I can use all of the them for this bank... but could not wait longer.... hence writing this review in plain simple language...
You may think that I am stretching it too far, but thats not true.. I am customer of this bank since more than 3 years and every time they had to send me something, or I had to do some transaction with this bank.. It was a nightmare....I am only continuing because they have my Salary Account...
They are only interested in your money, your investments, but turn blind eye to all of your problems..
My first debit card took me more than 2 months to arrive. It has expired last month, but I am still waiting for new card..I dont know how many times I called these people.....but for no use...
I have account in GreenPark branch and my Debit card is lying there...My poor card...They are asking me to go personally and to get it...which I cannot do as I am very busy..
These people are highly customer dis-oriented, not friendly and in generall they have experience of harassing customers...But their ATMs seems to work properly..They should also program ATMS to harass people to some extent atleast..As the ATMS agre bringing good name to ICICI...I am sure they will do this in near future...
So, I strongly suggest not to use this bank for any purpose...(except suggesting your enemy to open account here..) and stay away from ICICI...
Added after visiting their ICICI Green Park Branch on 30th Oct 2004
I went to the branch as the last resort to get my one month due Debit card.
Follwoing is the step by step by step account of what happened.
1. Enquiry I entered the branch and went from desk to desk to see if anyone is free, either people were busy with some one or the desks were empty. There was a board saying ’’May I help you..’’, but no-one was there below it.
Nobody was kind enough to ask me what the problem is.
Finallly I asked one young man and he said ’’someone will come at second counter’’, you can meet her. I did...
2. Meeting 1 After about 5 mins, this girl comes.. I said (to give context of my visit). Actually my ATM card expirted last month, SHE INTERRUPTED..
’’If you ATM card has expired, you should talk to helpdesk, no need to come to branch’’
I said... mam.. listen to me first...and explained the problem...that since one month its lying here...
She said ’’OK. concerned person will come at 1100 hrs.’’ 1100hrs.. I said I cannot wait for one hour...She said ’’OK, give me your number and I will let that person talk to you’’ I said..’’You have my no’’.
After some time she said.. ok.. why dont you talk to that lady who is currently talking to someone else... (she showed me).
I said ok.. and waited for about 10 mins and she came to desk.
After lots of verbal discussion she said..’’Concerned person will come at 1200’’!!!
What I said.. I cannot wait..
Finally she said... ok... I will send mail in front of you....and she did...
She said ’’Now I have sent mail to concerned person to deliver your ATM card’’ It seemed as it she was saying... I dont know if you receive it or not . ihave done my job...
Still I am waiting for my ATM card....Does anyone know how to withdraw money from ATM without a card .. I need money...GOD!!!!
