Dear All,
I am a humble customer of ICICI Bank who by mistake is
a account holder in ICICI. I deposited a DD No 936794 dated 7 Aug 08 of
UBI Bank in ICICI on 9 Aug to be forwarded to my housing agency in New
Delhi. The last date for my installment to be received in AWHO(Housing
agency) was 15 Aug 08. now on checking with their website and calling
them, I got to know that my DD has still not been received. The Bank
had given me a stamped copy of receipt of DD on 9 Aug and it is 28 Aug
today and I have not yet deposited my installment. On launching a
complaint on Bank’s website, their customer care says that the DD
should not have been accepted by their sec 11 Panchkula(haryana)
branch. I am in soup as I now face a penalty of 1% on total amount of
Rs 32 Lacs(House value).
On top of it, the said branch has not
yet told me where exactly that DD is if it has not been send till date.
I am a salaried individual and cannot bear such losses due to shear
negligence.
Please tell me how can I approach ICICI Bank so that they listen to my plea.
