I have been a customer of ICICI Bank for the past 5 & 1/2 years. My account was opened at a time when the bank was still in a nascent stage - wooing customers & expanding their reach to the common masses. From then till date my journey with the bank has been very smooth & I am fully satisfied with their services.
The bank is extremely efficient in every aspect of modern day banking. I have tried to highlight a few which are as under :-
Promptness. The bank is extremely prompt in all their correspondence whether by physical mail or email.
Tech-savvy. The bank is technologically very advanced & sound in all respects. All transactions are very customer friendly (there are DEMOs, where required). Even for a layman like me it was very easy to comprehend todays e-banking, and within a few days I had started advising my friends on it!
Security. The banking is extremely secure, so rest assured one can have complete peace of mind during & post transactions.
Telebanking. This service is probably the strong point of the bank. Again very secure & very prompt.
Attitude. Just walk upto any of the banks branches & one can notice a remarkable difference in the attitude towards customers even for trivial matters.
The plea that private banks these days have a lot of hidden factors or agendas, as compared to nationalised banks that have been funtioning from yester years, may not be justifiale all the time. I strongly feel & reccommend to all those who go through this piece of scrap that afterall there is nothing out of the world that the bank does. Everything is written in black & white! It is upto the customer to keep oneself abreast with every transaction being done.
I have till now NOT come across a situation where in the bank was found wanting. I strongly reccommend the bank to all those who either want to open a new account or desire a switch over from another bank or seek any modern day banking service.
