I am writing this review based on my husband’s experience in process to get a credit card. It is very necessary to let you all know this face of bank’s employees.
Few weeks back he received a call from a sales executive of credit card of icici. He was calling from Jhandewalan, New Delhi branch.
My husband did not required anymore cards as he already possessed axis and sbi cards. After he denied, the executive said that he will get a corporate card in which he will avail 7% discount on Irctc ticket booking. Hearing this we thought to get such card and submitted the documents. Next day a verification call came and following a mail was expected to confirm the verification with card details. A week passed but no response. When calling the executives asking the card details they would make excuses.
Finally I filed a complain against them at bank’s website. Following day one cce called and said that icici does not have any such card in their list. He was getting a metro card instead which was not required by us. When requested to cancel they said you will have to pay 100rs as they have top uped this amount in his card. We agreed. But no calls furthur again and the card was dispatched. When tracked the status was not delivered because of incorrect pin. We never received the card but they mailed monthly statement of around 3or 400 rs. What was this? Very angrily we mailed this time to the senior most person. Again following day we received a call and after a long argument the card was cancelled.
I know I wrote an essay today but I thought that it is very necessary to let my friends know this face of such banks.
