Im just writing a copy of my Complaint here..Hope one ICICI Executive reads this and forwards it..Im fed up with this Bank..
Dear Sir/Madam
This is in connection with the poor processing of Outstation Cheques by your Main branch, Connaught Place, New Delhi. This has happenned 2 times with our outstation cheques of value 24000 and 18000.
We deposited the Outstation cheques in the Drop box of your Main branch, which is written as Local Drop Box, we asked the executive sitting at the customer desk, she told us that we can DROP THE OUTSTATION CHEQUE IN THE LOCAL DROP BOX as its not of high value, then we waited and waited, after several queries we were told that itll take 23 days as it has gone in LOCAL CLEARING and REJECTED BY LOCAL CLEARING..
In the statement, it was written in remarks as Cheque No :;REJECTED BY US.., we thought that there was some problem in the Cheque and we told our client to send another Cheque..
After calling the Phone Banking..we came to know of this mistake by your Bank, which proved disastrous for the relations with our Clients...
We request you to take action in this case, were certainly very angry with the Poor handling of Cheques by your Main branch..
Youve the Option of installing another Drop Box for Outstation cheques.. and give some knowledge to the 14-year old girls sitting in your Main branch, to handle affairs.
For the above case, Weve decided to Close our account with your Bank and open it in much better HDFC Bank.
