FRAUD MEETS TOGETHER – ICICI, Mobile store and WILLS LIFESTYLE.
Recently I took Coral Debit card which had offer of 2 GIFT VOUCHERS from Wills Lifestyle and mobile store but the practices followed by ICICI is really cheap and designed to fool the customers.
First thing, the mobile store is not a GIFT VOUCHER but a Discount voucher valid on Rs.8000/- and above. Ok I accepted discount thing and went to mobile store to buy mobile worth Rs.8000 or more. The price quoted was Rs.9450 for Nokia Lumia 520 and when I gave Discount voucher I was told this voucher can’t be accepted and it will be valid on MRP. MRP of the product was Rs.11, 289 and by buying through this so called FRAUD GIFT VOUCHER (in actual discount voucher), I will get the mobile at Rs.10, 289. Normal customers can buy this mobile for Rs.9, 450. (MIND YOU I AM TALKING ABOUT THIS PRICE AT WHICH MOBILE IS SOLD AT MOBILE STORE AND NOT WITH ANY OTHER DISCOUNT. THIS IS THE FIRST PRICE QUOTED TO CUSTOMERS IN STORE) What a great deal for Coral Card customers. Then the mobile store guys told me to redeem it in next purchase. NON SENSE. When I told them that mobiles are not purchased daily so they said I can gift it to my friend..
Absolute fraud co. MOBILE STORE and ICICI BANK AND CORAL CARD FOR SURE. First thing, is the voucher intended to cost us more than normal purchase. Without using this I was getting the mobile much cheaper. Who purchases mobile on MRP???
EVEN THE WILLS LIFESTYLE GIFT VOUCHER is not valid during sale. Who buys apparels at MRP. Again for Wills Lifestyle same situation will come whereby ICICI customer will pay more than normal customers. I got vouchers from other banks also but all were acceptable during sale period.
UTTER SHAME ICICI.
I know ICICI is a shameless bank and they will not do anything about this.
