OK!! I know that I have given a very weird title to this revu, but as you read the reason for its aptness will come to light.
I have a salary account with this esteemed organization with its swank offices, aggressive growth forecasts, beautiful models and celebrity stars in its advertisements etc etc. The sales manager in his pitch to my company vowed to get credit cards processed and delivered within 21 days of opening an account, this was on the 12th of june 2003. I still dont have a credit card after repeated attempts Which have been aborted in various stages of processing.
The first time some outsourced partner of these guys walks into my hotel gets the form filled up, takes a photograph and all the works. He promises delivery in 15 days , nothing happens. I call him after a month and he says that ’’ I am only an sales agent , I have no clue as to the status of your application pls check with the bank’’ I call the customer care center , which again is an outsourced partner, this is what they had to say’’ I am so sorry sir, we have not received any application of yours, request you to apply again.’’ At the time of this exchange I was in a town called sahranpur in northern U.P. I told them the same and pat came the reply’’ sorry sir, we do not have partners in that town who can accept a credit card application’’ , what about the local branch I say ’’ sorry sir, the local branches no longer accept any credit card application’’ hence I resign to my state and let go of the issue.
I get posted in kolkata and hence with renewed vigour I try their kolkata customer care number, VOILA the call lands in hyderabad, as the outsourced partner is stationed in that city. I make a request am promised a serviCe level agreement of response within 48 hrs 4 days pass by and noone even calls me on the phone. I get on the phone agin and this is the conversation: ’’ I am so sorry for the inconvinience caused to you sir, may I have your request number.’’ I give the request number, ’’ sir may I confirm your address and telephone number, Sir I assure you that a executive will get in touch with by this eveing’’ I repeat this conversation each day for the next 6 days consequtively.
Nothing happens. But without fail each individual I spoke to told me the same thing as if by ROTE. Hence I said that their training manager is damn effecient.
