Worst ICICI bank NRE account experience
I had sent checks to my ICICi NRI a/c drawn on my bank in US. They debited the money from my US bank but they didnt put it in my NRE a/c in india. I have been following up with them ( a worst customer service I have ever seen!!) since last 3 months.
Whenever I call, a different person responds me and I have to start from beginning every time. And everytime they write sorry for the delay instead of actually doing something about the problem. Once I called and the lady asked me my account number. When I told her my acc number, looked like she was doing something on her computer. After some time she curtly replies that there is a leading zero in your account number, why didnt you mention it?(!)
And there is no way one can talk to any manager or a higher authority about this. So you are struck up with what you have. I am feeling like I made a mistake of my life after opening an account with ICICI.
Dont ever go to ICICI bank
