I was very happy with overall professionalism of ICICIBank for more than 5 years till I opened a NPS(New Pension Scheme) account selecting them as POP. Despite of submitting my PAN card copy twice in the ICICI Bank Saltlake branch and assurance by customer support, my NPS TIER-II account got frozen because PAN card was not received by NPS authority. As a result my cheque submitted towards NPS contribution got rejected. I confirmed the same from NPS helpdesk who told they did not receive my PAN card copy from my POP, i.e.
ICICI Bank though I submitted the copy not once but twice(22nd July and August 17 - 2013) at your Saltlake branch.
I raised a high priority complaint with ICICI Bank customer care and mailed the bank and called them too and I was told I would be getting a call back but though it is almost 48 hours nobody thought it is important to even apologize or contact me.
Never ever go with NPS account with ICICI Bank, it will be only harassment. I have faced some problem or other with every NPS transaction this year. I am not sure how can their service become so pathetic for NPS operation only.
