I am not the only one to be affected by the worse experience with ICICI.
Hidden charges.
too aggressive selling in Credit cards..they have a team of people compleeling you, as well as pleading you to take uo their card.
3.Worst is the Customer service.
My card was stolen and swiped for an amount of Rs 26, 000/- in Zaveri Jwellers shop. The jwellery was retained by the merchant since he doubted the card holder.
Immediately recognising that my card is stolen , I contacted call centre to block my card. Could never got them online..and their self service option was useless. Meanwhile the thief could swipe it in Jwellers shop.
then the series of bad experiences started. I settled all the other cards which were stolen alongwith. But ICICI, oof...never did they responded in time. After started sending legal notices saying that settlement can be done only within 90 days. I contacted them mor ethan 100 times in first 90 days.
after 1 year , after having a detailed discussions with the recovery people , they gave a verba assurance that nobody will call up now..and after six months from that day, my account was debited for Rs 46, 061/-.
If anybody is facing such problems, kindly unite.
Its absolute clueless working methodology ICICI has, and only knows well how to harrass the good customers. Due to huge volumes, which they grab due to aggressive marketing, they have started acting as monopoly king.
