I lost my wallet at Pune station, in process of blocking the cards some one has swiped it for amount of 50k. There were 3 cards in my wallet, Credit card company should investigate this matter as signature didn’t match in transaction slip( they are fraudulent transaction )
Here what is the credit card company have to say :
ICICI bank said
"We will be unable to accede to your claim with regards to the transaction mentioned above as it has been done before the lost/ theft of the card was reported to us."
"We wish to clarify to you again that the card holder is liable for any misuse on the card in case of the card is lost or stolen. We request you to lodge an FIR against the transaction on your card account"
But other credit company are doing investigations. Just wanted to share my experience hope it helps you.
