Avoid ICICI Bank like plague

The ICICI bank’s customer service is so slow that I practically started ageing while I was on phone call with customer service.The first call I made on 21st March, 2010 for knowing the status of courier containing password. The made me wait for 14 minutes. When ICICI 24 hour customer service told me that they have sent it long back (though, it arrived after  3 days). Since I did not receive the password till 21st, I requested for another password on 21st March during same call.


The password I received never worked.The second call I made for requesting my Internet banking password on Apr 1, 2010, they kept me waiting for 17 minutes and after that they hung up on me saying their support staff is too busy.


After that, today (5th Apr, 2010) I called again and they kept me waiting for 9 minutes. ICICI’s Internet Banking is so secure that even you can’t log into your own account. Forget about others. I requested for Internet banking enabled account. After one complete month I am yet to see Internet banking activated for various reasons.


If you can avoid ICICI, do it.
