Please never open an account with ICICI. Support is worst among all the banks. I opened my car overdraft account in the month of october and can you believe I havent received my atm PIN yet. They have lost it 4 times and again they have send it by courier 10 days back but yet to reach.
Regarding their customer service:
When I opened the account the icici bank officer told me I will get every thing in 10 days ( please note 10 days) so I should have get every thing including my cheque book, atm pin and other document. but this is end of year 2005 and I hope I will get my atm pin in 2007. I had lost the count how many times I have called the customer service nos. the most pathetic thing about customer service nos. of ICICI Bank is that their no. are either busy or system are down got call has been divered to wrong customer care.
I had to goto the courier company to get my cheque book and atm card. the name of courier company is Express IT.
God knows if I havent gone to the courier company, I would not have got my cheque book and atm card till tade.
The worst thing is that after my car was pledged to ICICI Bank, that officer who opened my account. He stopped taking my call, and as you know they dont give any official no. to any one no matter either you die because you dont have your own money to spend though your hard earn money they might be giving to some consumer loans or put that money in stock market.
Another funny thing about ICICI Bank as told by the officer who opened my account. they can’t take their mobiles in their own office (Videocon tower).
Ihope some day I will get my atm pin no.
