I happened to encounter this banker when my first employer opened my salary account with ICICI. It has been 10 long years and my salary account which was a Zero balance account has been changed to savings account when I left my first job.
The bank has done it just with a phone call and they haven’t troubled me much. Also the account continued as a Zero balance account even after conversion. I lost my Debit card a couple of months ago and getting a new one was so simple and hassle free. they issued a new card in less than a weeks time. ICICI also has got considerable number of branches and ATMs which makes it easily accessible. Internet and phone banking services are at the best.
