I have had another extremely vexing experience with this bank. Infact I wonder that after last time why I chose to experiment with ICICI!
Customer service execs dont pic up calls. They cut your calls. They promise to call back in 5 minutes and disappear. They gauruntee to have the work over in a day and you find that it is still pending after a week. Employees of this bank abuse the processes of the bank themselves.
Guys, Its complete chaos in there. I strongly urge everyone to stay away from ICICI bank. I have moved my business to HDFC. Cant comment on them as yet, but atleast till now its been much much better!

ICICI bank over promises on every thing and rarely delivers on them.
I started the process of opening a joint account with ICICI bank. The reason for choosing ICICI was only because they promised the account becoming active in sharp 7 days.
Its been 15 days since we submitted every dam thing and it still hasnt started off. Infact today was the icing on the cake. I called up and was told that it is active. I went to the bank to deposit a few cheques, and voila. It was a surprise . no account waiting for me . it was there idea of a joke I guess.
Im angry right now. I still accept that services might be better than government banks, but please be careful about believing their promises blindly. An SBI fellow will openly tell u it takes 3 weeks. An ICICI fellow will prmise the earth in 3 days and then end up taking 15. I’m not sure which one I prefer.
